9 years old model, probably not worth repair. You can get used one on ebay for little money

Screen not working on Canon powershot D10...takes pics but screen is black.

This is obviously a lack of power flow into the LCD. It could mean many things. All you need to do is; take it into a service centre for a check up and repair.
Don't attempt to fix it yourself.... if you value your camera, you need to accord it proper service ... and care.

Canon d10 water damaged

Buy another camera. Cameras as opposed to cell phone cameras have a flash circuit and water is conductive, so you have 300 plus volts going into a 6 volt circuit. You can use the camera as a paperweight

My cannon powershot D10 wont take clear pictures. Its just a fuzzy screen when I turn it on. I just used it an hour ago and it was fine. It is ruined or can I get it fixed?

These cameras use a focusing ring, that is controlled by electro-magnets and signals from the onboard processor. If any dust, sand, lint, etc., gets inside the lens assembly, it can jam the ring, not allowing it to focus. Your best shot to remedy this (short of repair) is to get a can of compressed air and spray it into the front of the lens assembly, trying to loosen the ring and allow it to work. You can buy the compressed air at Walmart for around $4, and it's also handy for cleaning out computer keyboards and the vents on laptops. If you don't have any success with this, repair will be necessary. Make sure you get an estimate first, since the whole camera will have to be disassembled to solicit the repair. Often, the cost of repair is more than that of a new camera. Here's a web blog about the problem of stuck lens, and you can also try their other hints, in the hope of freeing the focus ring up.

The blog is about lens errors and problems with the lens assembly, so it also applies to the problem you're having. Good luck, and hope this helps!

When i try to turn my Canon d10 on, i see a timer counting up instead of the image... it's a blue screen with white numbers

that's the clock feature, you must be holding down the "func set" button as you're turning on the camera.

Canon d10 lens error can it be user fixed ?

Possibly. This link outlines some repair options for a lens error. None involve opening the camera. They won't work for all cases, but they're worth a try if the camera's no longer under warranty, or quoted professional repair costs are excessive.

First inmersion with Canon D10.Display went off, never recover. But it seems the camera functions, as it takes pictures. I d br grateful is someone helps me, its my second day of holidays, it is not fair!...

Apparently, you got a camera with an lcd screen that leaks. If it's still under warranty, get Canon to fix or replace it. I know that doesn't help you on your vacation.

this is just a suggestion ...look for the exact model ...and have patience ..do not get hurry to buy cause there are deals and deals....you might even get the exact model...but usually most canon from the same generation will fit ...in...
anyway ..even if you will have to wait for the shipping for about 10 days...its the cheapest and the sure way to buy just what you desire ...and not what the store have on packages ..
