My TX12i8D-8 has exactly the same symptoms. Formatting SD card and trying different SD cards and using fresh batts did not help. It is about 2 years old so probably it's just done.

SOURCE: Print the date on the image/photo

It is not possible to embed the date/time stamp as part of the image itself with the XT. The date/time information is stored as part of the exif information stored in the image at the time of shooting.

However, you do have a couple options for printing images with the date/time stamped onto the image:

If you use the direct print capabilities of the camera when connected to a compatible printer (PictBridge, CP, or DirectPrint are all supported), you are able to enable an option that will print the image with the date/stamp printed on the image. There are also software packages that you can use that will do the same when printing from the computer.

And finally, it is possible, with some photo finishers, to request that they imprint the shooting date/time on the image. This will vary from photo finisher to photo finisher, and the will be some who can't, or won't, do this.

SOURCE: Date and time stamp

Hello,
I wish to have this issue solved too!
It is very useful to have timestamp optional as in most other cameras...

SOURCE: I inserted a 4GB SDHC

I assume that the camera is not compatible with SDHC cards and will only work with normal SD (upto 2GB) cards.

I have a Wildgame Innovations camera model TR10i33d-7 I have a newly formatted SDHC card 16GB. When unit powers up it displays err

Usually you have to format it inside the unit, as the unit has its own non-standard filing system. However, perhaps you have the wrong type of card?

IMPORTANT: Make sure the camera is powered off before removing or installing an SD card. If you are using an SD card from other cameras, please make sure to format the SD card in your computer prior to use in your camera. New cards are ok to use straight from the package.

Why is my camera reading err sd when I insert sd card

I can think of a few possible issues:
1. SD card not formatted (format it in the camera)
2. SD card bad. try another one.
3. SD card bigger than camera can handle.

How to unlock Wildgame Innovations Red 4 game camera

It's not the camera. Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Display reads "LOC"

The SD card has a little switch on the left side (Lock/Unlock) that provides write protection for the card. The switch is in the Locked position and the camera can't write to the card. Remove the card and move the switch to the unlocked position (towards the contacts on the end you insert into the camera). Then replace the card carefully so that you do not change the position of that switch.

If that doesn't work, try another SD card.

I hope this helps.

How do I delete the photos from my SD card in my AXE 2 Trail Camera (Wildgame Innovations)

Just plug the cam into your laptop with the USB cord. Navigate on your computer to the video or picture files for the camera. Select the files you would like to delete (just as you would with any other files on your computer) and then simply delete them.
