Hi did you do a continuity check check if there's a wire shorted or open you'll need a volt meter check if the wires on the crank sensor going to the control module and also the one from the coil to the module there has to be a shorted or open wire check this and get back to me good luck

1995 Ford Taurus Sho 3.2 check engine light blink 3 3 1 3 3

Code 33 is EGR opening not detected, this is caused by a plugged EGR exhaust passage in the upper intake manifold, this is a common SHO engine fault, the valve works but the engine does nothing that the computer can sense, since no gas flows, to verify this is the problem open the egr at idle, the engine should almost die, if nothing happens or only a tiny change in idle speed or quality the passages are plugged, if it does stall or get real rough the egr position sensor (usual code for sensor is 32) may be faulty or the valve is sticking. I was a ford dealer tech for 30 years and did quite a few of these, there is a TSB (technical service bulletin) about this problem

Need to know what fires coil 1995 mercury sable both wires to coil have power when key is turned on car cranks no spark from coil new coil what gives the coil extra power to fire

what engine? 3.0L 2 Valve? 4 Valve?
3.4L SHO engine?

The PCM (engine computer) fires the coils, but it is never the cause of a problem. I suspect it is the crankshaft position sensor on the front of the engine by the crank pulley. easy to change.

Crankshaft Position Sensor The crankshaft position sensor (CKP sensor) (6C315) is a variable reluctance sensor triggered by a 36-minus-1 tooth trigger wheel located on the crankshaft pulley and damper. The signal generated from the crankshaft position sensor is called the crankshaft position (CKP) signal, which provides base timing and crankshaft speed (rpm) information to the ignition control module (ICM) (12K072). Base timing is set at 10±2 degrees before top dead center (BTDC) AND IS NOT ADJUSTABLE. The powertrain control module (PCM) (12A650) will use this information with the spark advance information to determine ignition coil (12029) turn on or turn off time.

1995 Ford SHO

your best bet for a diagram is to ask for a suspension printout at your local dealership. Or take a look under any 86-95 Ford Taurus SLO, SHO, or Sable and they use the same design (the SHO just uses slightly different parts. Here is a link though for a SHO parts list with part numbers. Hope this helps.

Engine dies 95 taurus

It is most likely the TFI ignition module, replace it, don't use anything but the FORD part, the aftermarket modules are very poor quality, I have done hundreds of TFI"s and know this for a fact.
