I have a Kodak Easyshare camera model MD1063. I was taking a photo today and when I turned off the camera, the lens didnt not go back in and the screen turned off. So I then pressed the power button, and the green light blinked and the screen remained black and it still would not power on. I removed the battery, replaced it, still the same problem. Would anybody know how to fix this problem? Also, the camera was only bought in December of 2008, so its not really old. Thank You so much!!!

Hi,your camera needs a servise , its a lance problem just open your camera and remove the lance assembly and servise it properly , otherewise contact authorised person,

Sherry, have you tried to replace the battery of your camera? The recommended battery for your camera are the Ni-MH battery and the Alkaline battery. Now if you already using this type of battery and still your LCD screen is black its time for you to call Kodak at 1 800 235 6325 ext 12, it means that the LCD screen of the camera is already defective.
With the cam connected , open the easyshare software ,bypass the transfer window then click on the ADD PICTURES icon on the top left,under SELECT A LOCATION click on the model no. of the cam. Tag all the pictures you would like to add, then click on ADD PICTURES. Click on DONE once finished.

My kodak Easyshare C653 camera is 2.5 years old when suddenly did this a few times
then completely refused to turn on at all. Research showed me that
this is a firmware issue in Kodak cameras. Kodak website said it will look at it and
try to fix it for minimum $70 which is not worth it in my case as I paid $130
for the camera brand new 2.5 years ago. So either pay the $ for kodak to fix or buy a new camera is the solution. I am buying a new camera but it won't be a kodak this time as I want a camera that last years and won't go dead after warranty runs out.
