I try to turn on the set and the power light goes green like normal but then changes to six flashing red lights with out powering up.

Otherwise there is a full recall on all 50XBR1's and 60XBR1's for ANY video issue.
But the bullentin I do have on that is Confidential due to the amount
of claims SONY could recieve. But here is a sample of the bulletin.

Thanks. ctf1800 also led me to the same link and since my original post Sears repair was able to get out sooner than I expected and I was able to know one of my problems was the optical block and they will be replacing it.
