I have a gfm dvd vcr player you cant record anything on it but it plays dvd and company vhs tapes just fine. but when i put a vcr tape in that someone recorded for me there is hardly no sound even though i turned up tv volume and still couldn't barely hear it even though tv volume is up all the way. checked connections and they seem to be ok so i cant fiqure out why there is hardly no sound when i put recorded vcr tape in player it plays fine in other persons vcr but when i put tape in mine there is hardly any sound even though i tried to turn up tv volume

this shows that your tape needs to be cleaned we have vhs cleaner a liwuid type and dry type just play this and it will clean your tape head. the tape is stock up inside due to dirty tape head. does this answers your problem?

no reset, the infred led inside the unit are bad and need to be replaced common problem, they are located on the ends of the tape mech.

Yes! The cheapest way to fix it is to buy a new blank tape and take it apart transplant the old tape & reels to the new case of the new tape. Be sure to keep your fingers off the surface of the tape.

what I would do is play the vhs tape for a bit then rewind and press the dub botton only and see what happens. if nada then insert a new blank dvd and make sure its formated.

Direct copy VCR to DVD:
- Insert VHS tape you want to copy
- Insert a recordable DVD disc
- Press DVD copy button on front panel or remote control (to DVD).
- To stop recording press the stop button.
IMPORTANT: If attempting to copy copyrighted material the Samsung DVD-VR320 will detect the encoding and will not allow the copy to be made.
