Imate JAM Incoming phone call voice muting

I am facing a problem with my imate JAM. I am not able to hear the incoming voice during a phone call. My voice can be heard by the caller very clearly. While call in progress, "micropone with a red x" sign appears at the bottom toolbar, near the contact list symbol.
I tried to master reset the phone several times, backed up and restored data but the problem still remains the same.
Can you please help me in this regards?
Thanks and best regards,
Prashant S.

I tried to hard reset, the problem remains the same. I contacted the service center and got an advise to replace the speaker. It would cost too much considering the present value of the phone!!!

    Dear Islam,

Can you please further explain this? Do you mean a part on the top side of the speaker? It is covered with a rubber cap. Do I have to remover the cover around the camera lense and the speaker. If yes, can you please explain how to remove it?

Appreciate your help in this regards.

    Thanks and best regards.

Dear SPrashant,
i'll try here explain the solution hopping that will help you, &, the other.
if you look at the back cover before opening the mobile, you will find in the above partion, in the right side you will find camera, in the left side you will find 2 things, in the top you will find leather part, &the back speaker, the leather part that i want you when opening the back cover to remove and connect it again, this leather part used to reverse the sound to the front speaker, so if it wasn't connected well, there is no sound on the front speaker.
hope that will help you.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

Well if that's the case, the printer should be detached or powered of during call operations. The printer detects incoming calls that's why it triggers it to operate. Turning it off during operation will surely be the solution.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

How to put cell phone to speakerphone mode

Manual:

From Page 39 of the manual:

Selecting Options (right softkey) during a call displays a list of
features you may use during the course of a call. To select an
option, press the corresponding keypad number or highlight
the option and press . The following options are available
through the Options menu:
 (1) Key Mute/Unmute allows you to mute the microphone
on your phone so the caller is unable to hear any sound.
 (2) Turn Speaker On enables the speakerphone feature.
 (3) Set Whisper increases the microphone to its maximum
level. During a call turn on Set Whisper when speaking
softly or when the caller cannot hear your voice clearly.
This mode is useful in meetings or public places.
