Could be the "resume" battery that has died - its an internal battery shrink wrapped in bright green plastic on tosh's normally - you might be able to get to it by unplugging stuff, battery, cd rom etc etc....unplug it and plug it back in again, if it comes alive again order another. I went on a toshiba laptop maintenance course years ago with a company that i worked for and that error that youre seeing was the fix....see if that works...

Num Lock key must be off. I can't log in using my 4 digit code. How do I turn on the Num Lock key? It is not marked.

It is one of the function keys, it will have a keypad symbol on it.
On my Toshiba it is the F11 key.
Try the Fn key + F11 key to enable the numbers, press the combination of key again to turn off Num Lock

TOSHIBA satelite wont turn on

If you have tried a new power supply and taking out the battery and it still won't start, then the problem is with the power management system on the motherboard. This means that the motherboard will have to be replaced. Check into your warranty, being that it's only 10 months old, it should still be under warranty. If so, then get it to them to be fixed asap, before they decide your warranty doesn't cover it.
