Through the 3.5mm headphone jack from your headphones, its a pretty small hole usually to the front of the tv set, being so small you may have to look for it. If it is wireless you will need to connect the main headphone system to the back of your TV (audio in jack) then ensure system is powered on and headphones are charged.
Hi, this is a very common problem, after you have pulled the ear phones in and out a few times the solder on the earphone socket becomes brittle and breaks making you lose the connection with the circuit board, now as you have ruled out it being an earphone fault then the only possible problem could be the solder.
now sometimes if you wiggle the earphone at the part that goes into the mp3 you can sometimes get the sound working again, but this dont always work so dont rely on this,
now the problem you have is that the cost of getting this part fixed would cost a lot more than buying a new mp4 player.
the cheapest place to try and get this fixed is a tv repair shop, tell them exactly what the problem is so they dont have to test it and see how much they will charge you to resolder the earphone socket back in place properly.
that would be the cheapest option and could possibly get it working again if they will do the work for you
im sorry their is no easy fix but without getting the earphone socket re-soldered it will just never work
The normal procedure is: Turn on Bluetooth on the cell phone. Turn on the charged earphone. Press search for devices on the cell phone. When the earphone is found enter '0000', four zeros, press enter. It should now say device connected. If not: Is '0000' the correct code? look in the owner's manual. Is the earpiece charged? Power light on, blinks? Is the procedure slightly different? Check owner's manual. Is it still linked to a different phone? Turn off that phone. If you still have issues, the earpiece is probably defective.
open it up completely...where the charging socket is at the bottom use a toothbrush and some alcahol ...theres dust and fluff shorting out the pins inside ....had this problem before...if you plug in an earphone(handsfree) it should work...
Well I have had the same problem as well, twice really. The first one got replaced by Sennheiser, very good service. Unfortunately about a year later the same problem, I am waiting now what they will do with this. I really like the little earphones but I need them to work. Untill now I have had great service which of course comes with the quality of the name.
