The B130/1300 had wireless as an option, so it may or may not have a wireless card. It does have a Wired NIC.

If no Wireless NIC, you can get a PCMCIA or USB wireless NIC

Laptop running hot - Fan cycling on and off every 10-20 seconds

My guess is that CPU fan, it there is one, is not working properly and your computer is heating up. Is it turning off, too, occasionally after a period of time? Suggest a new CPU fan.
