Hello, There is the possibility that the earpiece of your headset is bad. Try putting the rdaoi on loudspeaker, if it works, then you either listen to the radio on loudspeaker, or get another headset that is in perfect shape. But if putting it on loudspeaker still does not work, then you have to entirely change your headset to another.
It could be that your unit is defective and may need to be replaced but
here is some information for you to check out from the user guide:
1) Callers cannot hear me, or I cannot hear caller/dialing tone.
The headset is not turned on or the headset is not connected to mobile
phone. Press the call control button for 2 seconds until you hear a beep
or see the indicator light glow blue to turn headset on.
Your headset is out of range. Move the headset closer to the phone or Bluetooth device. Your headset battery is drained. Charge your battery using the AC power adapter supplied. The listening volume is too low. Press the volume key up (toward the earloop) to increase the sound heard in the headset.
Unfortunately no. The phone ringer has to be a certain volume for the
lifter microphone to pick up the ringing vibrations. If you put it to
low, you will not be alerted to the incoming calls. When you're at your
desk and can see the incoming calls, maybe then you can lower the
telephone ringer volume for some relief.
Well, the best thing 2 do would be 2 go 2 pc world and ask them for help. Or you could just connect it 2 ur pc/laptop and listen 2 it from there.Or even copy the files 2 ur mobile. I hoped this helped! =)
I bought one myself, I have a Vista OS, non-integrated bluetooth laptop.. I had to pop in the USB dongle for capabilities....Still cant get the Mic to work though...so if anyone knows anything on that....I went to HP live chat session too.
BUT HERES THE MODES YOU MAY NEED TO PUT IT IN... Searchable/Discovery- Hold down the power button about 6-7 secs and it will sound a few short low beeps and flash between Red and Blue, then search 8) Erase Pairing Profiles- Press and hold the Track forward/track backward Button together until it flashes purple. Hardware reset- if headset is screwy, froze up, LED display is incorrect...Plug in headset, and hold down bothh Volume buttons, this will power it down and reset its state of confusion, lol Passkey is always '0000' by default
2-short Hi beeps....Connected
2- short low beeps....pairing mode also
1 long Hi beep.....Power On/Off
1 long low beep....lost Connection
Try pairing your device to another mobile and try listening music with it.If it works, either the settings on you Nokia N73 need to be changed, either is not fully compatible with the phone. As a last resort you can reset to default the settings on your mobile.Upgrading the firmware I do not recommand doing it, even from an official site, cause it can turn be very unstable.
i think ur not using nokia approved genuine headset accessory . even though some head sets have nokia logo they r not original made by nokia . they cause low sound quality while hearing music and diaphram bets can be heard during playing high bass songs . try with another genuine headset
