Gigabyte GA-F2A D3H and AMD A series processor Windows 8 upgraded to 10 last year.
Ok, a simple hardware question only. w10 could careless about PSU. (facts) mobo is micro atx size 24.4cm x 24.4cm
not powering up has many causes, even simply stuck in sleep mode. (power on button held for 10seonds and released last is 1 cure. of about 20 causes (up to)
GA-F2A78M-D3H (rev. 3.0)or rev. 4.0?????
rev is on bottom left of mobo, normal tower case. no case told
the PSU is called ATX and all work here 500 to 750watts
24 pin power is normal
but CPU power uses 8 pin power plug PSU.marked ATX12v
psu lacking 8 pin, can use 4 to 8 adpater.
vast here work, in real ATX case not micro cases.

from you manual .
dead PC
are all fans dead.> that is dead PC.
the monitor must be good and connected the the VGA jack
if using GPU card then it must connect to the monitor
the BIOS screen must work or the PC is dead or GPU card is dead.
strip the PC down ,any thing in the PC shorted will make PC dead.
if strip down tests fail the PSU may be bad is its fan dead too?
both power connectors most be connected above or PC will be dead.
SOURCE: my AMD x4 processor problem with gigabyte motheraboard
please load windows xp 64 bit . it will work well.
also check the temperature of motherboard and processor in bios
if temperature high use good heat sink and cpu fan .
SOURCE: PROCESSOR, MOTHERBOARD AND POWER
Some motherboards with 8-pin and 24-pin power connectors support 4-pin and 20- pin connectors, like my Gigabyte GA-MA790GPT-UD3H AM3 AMD 790GX.

Converts two 4-pin standard Peripheral power cables, (Molex) to one female 8-pin EPS +12 Volt power cable.

[ NOTE*
Designated a 4-pin Standard Peripheral power cable, because there is a 4-pin Small peripheral power cable ]
A) 8-pin EPS +12 Volt power cable,

B) Note the difference from an 8-pin PCI Express power cable,

Used on the older Floppy Drives, and also used on today's Card Readers in desktop computers }
Testimonial: "awesome"
Should work with a processor of the same socket type. I'd seriously upgrade the psu myself. Personally I'd upgrade the motherboard and processor to a quad core, and get the fastest ram, look at ebuyer.com, you can buy a bundle upgrade package for less than you may think. :)
