gud day,try to clean the bottom of knob control by removing of knob then clean if by using a vacciumm,if u want to use manually ur cooktop unplug the unit to stop the cliking,then use macthes every time to on the gas cooktop.

i have an electrolux model ekt 6045 it does not stay on it comes on for 1sec then goes off wot would be the cours of this please the oven stays on but the hob doesent thank you.

Why dko all 4 hobs show L?
Gas or electric? What caused the change? My guess is the knobs were removed for cleaning and not reinstalled properly. There is a flat on the valve stem that must match the flat on the Knob when installed.

We have an electrolux gas hob and it seems as if the electric spark ignition is stuck and it is clicking all the time on all four burners. Wonder if you have any suggestions ??
Hello,
The problem is one(or more) of the 4 switches that turn on the spark when that burner is turned on is shorted and stays closed (on) all the time.To determine which one it is the face where the knobs are has to be removed,with THE POWER OFF a meter set to low ohms rating is used to check each switch by removing the wires to it and see which one has continunity (ZERO OHMS) when its off and that switch that slips on the burner valve shaft is the bad switch(s) and needs to be replaced to keep it from sparking all the time.

    I need new knobs for collonial green creda gas hob tried internet 20 each can i use a cheaper black one. i need four
    you can use any knobs that fit the shafts/ creda is very expensive . robert shaw has replacment knobs . but make sure the shaft size is correct . if its gas the standard ( D ) style will work .. mm cost afout 19.00 for a set of 4 .. mm

    Gas hob is permanently igniting
    hi gud day,try to clean the area of knobs by using vacium,remove all the knobs firts then clean it,unplug the unit before u clean.
