SOURCE: lost power cord

Try http://www.partstore.com/ They list power cords for the MX3900D37, MX3900D/37S, MX3900D399, and the MX3900D/99. The AC Cord Philips Part Number is 242207098246 and the price (without shipping) is $7.50. I cannot tell if the cord will work in Canada, since they do not show a picture. Since you live in Ontario, I would give them a call at 1-866-925-7278. (If you can call a USA 1-800 toll free, 1-866 is also a toll free number.) They are based in Kingston, NY 12401. I do not have any financial stake in this company. I have bought from them in the past with no problems.

SOURCE: Lost power cord

Should be OK as long as it's capable of carrying the wattage the system is pulling. The TH-42PX60U is rated at 320 watts max - you should be OK as most computer cables are rated well above that. However if you're worried, us the power cord from a laser printer or copy machine - it will definately carry the load.

C3742U. Where can I get a replacement power cord?

If you mean the Sharp LC-C3742U TV, the power cord is part number: QACCDA039WJPZ . Several vendors have the power cord, including Amazon.com. See http://www.amazon.com/SHARP-OEM-QACCDA039WJPZ-CORD-CORE/dp/B001DEJTN6 and https://www.partstore.com/Part/Sharp/Sharp/LCC3742U/Sharp/Sharp/QACCDA039WJPZ/New.aspx, among other links.

I hope this helps.

Sharp model #LC32SB24U set wont turn on. Power led blinks green and you here relays clicking on and off but the screen wont light up. I have some training but need a service manual to follow. If you have...

Hi Monte,

Please email me at [email protected], I will send you the copy of Sharp LC32SB24U.

That kind of symptoms is caused by faulty electrolytic capacitor on the power supply board. It will drop the normal working voltage of the power supply and will disable the unit resulting to blinking led light and clicking of the relay.

Fauly electrolytic capacitor most of the time has a physical indication of fault like bulged/dome at the top and can be easily identify through visual inspection.

If you found them on the board, replaced it with same capacitance and working voltage that is printed on its body itself. For more info regarding electrolytic capacitor, watch the video below.

My LC32SB24U Sharp TV has died after only 18 Months!

Well, the power supply module will have to be the first place to look. Most LCD TV breaks down after about 2~3 years, one of the reason is that the minute is plugged into the wall outlet, the power supply and the processor will be running 24/7 even the TV was never turn on, they will be subjected to power surges, spikes 24/7. I always completely turn off my AC power surge suppressor outlet to OFF so there will be no power to the TV when it is not in used. Parts for your TV:
