Have you tried a factory reset on the TV.Also try unplugging the tv wait about 20 seconds and then plug it back in.Last check the trouble shooting in the tv manual

The power cord is the same as the ones used on desk top computers . Any store that sells computer parts will have it.

Look like a classic case of Main SSB failure. Do you have sound? If not then it is confirmed that the microprocessor on the SSB has failed. YOu are gonna have to replace the board to fix it. Let me know if you want to do it yourself

1. check you menu to see if you have the TV in hibernation mode if not. you have a TV that has heat build up after so many minutes. You didn't provide the model number for this unit.

You might not be able to find aftermarket parts but you can find used boards that have been removed from broken screen LCDs.
What is the model number of your LCD or the part numbers of the boards?

i am going to give you the best solution for this problem, not even sharp techs know what the problem is, the only solution is to get the sound from a separate receiver, let me make myself clear, get the audio out put from the satellite or cable box. and connect it to a receiver with separate speakers. the problem is in the sound card and to replace it cost $260.00 + labor and you gonna have the same problem in a few months or it could last a year or 2 two days, who knows, don't waist your money trying to repair it. i have done 3 so far and that is the only solution good luck

im not sure but could it be a comparability issue with the device and the wake up signal from the device to the tv? android systems use a Linux based file system, so the problem may be in the tv's input settings. hdmi input from the device to the tv. and then go to tv input mode and see if putting the device in another hdmi port doesn't work.

We have the same TV. In settings for sound you need to select the port directing where you want sound to play. It may be that it is currently setup to play to a sound bar.
