Brake activate on slope like a power failure

The slope could be steeper than the scooter is rated for. Check your owner's manual.

Audio-Technica freeway 200 Series VHF Wireless System - I had problems connecting the wireless system with a quarter inch to a xlr. The sound system made a very loud disturbance sound. What cable do I use...

XLR connectors are a two-wire plus ground system. Using a 1/4 inch to XLR adapter may not connect the wires correctly to your sound system input.

The A-T Freeway 200 Series has a 1/4" output jack. This would indicate a line level. A cable to connect the tip of the 1/4" jack to pin 2 of the XLR and the sleeve of the 1/4" jack to pins 1 and 3 of the XLR should work. The XLR should be plugged into a device that accepts line level.

Ideally, you should plug the 1/4" into a 1/4" or RCA jack that is designed for line levels.

Would like to use with a mac computer but it does not have a USB cable. Please let me know if it could be done. Thanks.

This is because this microphone has an XLR audio connector for output. YOU CAN'T USE THIS CONNECTOR FOR THE USB PORT since the XLR is an audio type connector while USB is a data type connector. You might use a cable with XLR female at one end and 3.5mm jack like this one with mono jack at the end (not stereo as the amazon's link) and connect this cable at the microphone and at the sound card of your computer. The quality with this solution won't be very good, it depends on your audio card. A better solution is to use XLR-to-USB-Signal-Adapter/dp/B001PPXFAG/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1290885531&sr=8-16">this adaptor or equivalent in order to connect the mic on the adapter and the adapter with a USB cable at your computer. It's a better but more expensive solution.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

Osprey 210 audio problem

The breakout cable has the RCA connectors needed. Yellow is Video, Red and White are the 2 audio inputs. Alternate inputs are the 1/8" stereo jack for sound and the S-Video plug. (not to be used all together).
viewcast.com is their website.
Also check the setup for recording, that the audio source is selected properly.

XLR connector tip separated from the 1/4' connector and is stuck.

solved with glue and screw!just to make sure: ccctierney was probably speaking about a trs 1/4' connector, not an xlr one - xlr connectors don't really have any kind of tip that could separate, do they?

anyway, i bought a new zoom h4n and after my first recording the tip of a 1/4' trs "jack" connector kept stuck inside one of the "combo" sockets, making me really unhappy.

after several hours of attempts to put it out with all kinds of nails, needles, pliers, scissors etc, i finally succeeded: i found a screw (wood spin) of appropriate size, dipped its tip into a drop of quick setting two-part epoxy glue (the one i used is sold under the name "furtopur" in my country - czech rep., i'm pretty sure something similar you can get anywhere), wrapped the screw into a piece of paper to protect the connector from being glued, put it inside and had a coffee to let the glue harden. after pulling then, here we go, the tip was out, see the photo!

I need to know how to wire an xlr y adapter

Hi,

I always solder it this way.
Take a female XLR connector, two thin sym. cables and two male XLR connectors.
Solder both cable parallel in the female connector and the ends on the male connectors.
This way you get the same signals on both inputs of your amplifier.

Gerard

The internal battery charger has stopped working

You don't have to buy a new charger from C.T.M. and pay the high mark-up price. Any powerchair charger with a three-pin XLR connector will charge your chair. The is a femal XLR connection located on your joystick pointing out the front. Plug the charger in here.

Ebay has a lot of 24 volt charger for sale for about $25-$50 dollars instead of paying CTM $150.00. Search for 24 volt xlr charger. The end of the charger that plugs into your chair should look like this picture. Make sure it does before ordering. plgxlr.gif
