Indoor unit indicator
RUN lamp = 6 time flash
TIMER lamp = Comes on
Outdoor unit indicator (LED5) = Stays off
Description of trouble = Indoor fan motor error (2)
Cause = Defective fan motor, Connector poor connection
Conditions of flashing = When air conditioner is operating and indoor fan motor is turned ON, indoor fan motor speed of 400 rpm or under continued for more than 30 seconds. (Air conditioner stops.)

Comfortmaker 10 means simply it is a 10 SEER system. Unable to determine the OUTPUT size without the Model Number. Go to the Outdoor Unit Nameplate and locate the Model No. Here is an easy way to determine the "SIZE" of the "Comfortmaker 10 HVAC" Systems:

NAC015 1.5 Ton Unit

NAC024 2.0 Ton Unit

NAC030 2,5 Ton Unit

NAC036 3.0 Ton Unit

NAC042 3.5 Ton Unit

The first step in the diagnostic procedure would be to hook up a factory or professional type scanner an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's in all the module's on the vehicle. At lest 10 on your vehicle .Looking at data for affected system's , testing power an ground circuits for the control module incharge of these system's .

The following conditions must be met in order for the A/C compressor clutch to turn on:
• The ambient air temperature is above 4°C (40°F).

• B0159 is for the ambient air temperature sensor.

Taking your vehicle to a qualified repair shop mite be your best course of action .

It shows your model above. This is the only way to get a diagram for this unit. Please keep me posted on the out come or if you need more help.

This must be a heat pump? Sometimes the unit can be more efficient with this combonation. What you are probably hearing is the reverse direction of the
refrigerant going back through the liquid line.

If in cooling sometimes you can hear a gurgling sound going through the expansion valve, sometimes
this is a sign of low refrigerant or the system is fine..

If you recently had the outdoor unit replaced and noise is an issue, check to see if the unit has isolation pads installed underneath the unit whether
it be on concrete slab or on brackets mounted to
house. Sometimes the new units come with compressor that has a jacket installed over it

There is a red reset on the outdoor unit, near where the copper lines connect to it, also there should be fuses in the disconnect box, near the outdoor unit, that the electrician installed.

it's 3.5 tons and I would use #10 wire

Try to reset the error by disconnecting the circuit breaker for 10sec. and "on" again then operate the unit. But if wont work may there some parts that are defective that trigger the error E3. Replacement of pars is needed for this problem.
