If the butter has been frozen and defrosted, I would not re-freeze, just use it now.

SOURCE: frozen potatoes and soft butter, fridge not working

Anytime one of the cooling tubes is blocked it forces the cold air from the freezer through the open cooling tube or tubes so you will have spot freeze ups. Suggest you use a flexible wire like a guitar string to attemp to clear the blockage. If you heat the wire with a hair dryer, it will make the job faster.
As far as the unit resetting itself, it could be a preset condition. If the sensor are telling the control board one thing and you are trying to change settings, then the preset conditions could be over riding your commands. Get the cooling tubes cleared and see if things go back to normal.
The water dispenser - could be you have a leak in the water line running into the door or it could be the water depenser itself. Not enough data to tell - suggest you localize the leak. Sometimes flour will tell you where the leak starts.

I need to know it okay to eat a ham that been in the freeze for a year I got from a job I never open it up I just put in the freeze how long before it not any good to eat

If it has been frozen the entire time it should be safe to eat. Most anything that has been continually frozen should be safe to eat if cooked and eaten soon after thawing it out. Bacteria is what spoils anything and bacteria cannot multiply in a frozen environment. Depending on what it is,how long it was frozen and whether or not it was exposed to air while being frozen will determine whether or not there is an undesirable change to the taste, color or texture.
The best (safest) way to thaw anything out would be slowly in a properly working and set refrigerator.
Your ham should be OK,especially if it was frozen in its original plastic packaging without being opened or exposed to air before freezing. I have eaten previously frozen hams and turkeys (in their original packaging) that were in my freezer a lot longer than one year... and I never noticed any difference in taste.

My daughter left door open on Meila freezer and ice is now refrozen and clogged. What should I do?

By far the safest and easiest is to remove product and switch off freezer leave door open and totally defrost the freezer - allow a day or so to make sure all ice has melted - clean cabinet and return cabinet to service

Why won't my fridge cool properly

This happened to me also, I had to let refrigerator defrost all the way by unplugging it. The lines that carry the freon had frozen so they were not circulating properly. I had to buy ice and use coolers for food, then wait till next day before plugging unit back in.

Found some cube steaks in the freezer from 2010, are they safe to cook & eat?

Personally, I would not eat them. 1st, do you know if hey have been defrosted & then re-frozen in the last 3 yrs? (NOT GOOD!); 2nd, even if you did eat them, they are probably "freezer burned," & would taste awful. Hope this helps!

We left the freezer door open all night by accident two days ago

I turned the fridge side off on mine, and left it overnight (last night!). This morning there is frozen stuff in the freezer. I think the compressor motor just needed ALOT of time to cool down b4 it would work properly again
