b. copy/paste the unzipped files in the root directory of the Flash Drive. Verify that you have the .bin or .pmg of whatever your FTA box is using;
c. remove flash drive from PC's USB port and insert into the USB port of the FTA receiver;
d. on the FTA box, using your remote, go to Menu, Settings or Sytem Information, keys, firmware or receiver Upgrade, select USB, select Flash, Save, Activate or Upgrade;
e. wait until the FTA box has uploaded to itself the new firmware/satellite keys;
f. reboot (power on/off).
If you are using PC-based FTA satellite receiver:
i. run your FTA receiver program;
ii. select for Tools/Options/Upgrade or Update;
iii. browse/direct to search in your temporary folder where downloaded files were unzipped;
iv. once found, click OK/Update/Upgrade;
v. in some brand/model/version, there is an auto upgrade/update feature which will download appropriate firmware/satellite keys if you are online.
