How do I music onto my Aluratek ereader?

First hook your Aluratek to the computer with the USB cord that came with your Aluratek. Then make sure your Aluratek is on. Go to start menu on your computer. Open the computer file it should list your Aluratek along with your computer hard drive. Left click on your Aluratek drive. It should say open. Open it then click on the file that says the type of files you want to move. Books, pictures, mp3's. Now drag and drop the files to your open file. You can also do the same with the SD card rather than the internal memory both will show up as separate devices.

I loaded a book on my sd card then put it in my reader then it tells me that it is incompactable I can not figure out how to read it off the sd card or how todownload it from the computer to the sd card...

First make sure your SD card is formatted for your Aluratek. You do that by hooking your Aluratek up to your computer. Turn your Aluratek on with the SD card inside the Aluratek. Go to start menu. Open file named computer. There should be your computer drive your Aluratek and the SD they will be lettered left click on the one for your SD card. It should list format. Click format. Use safe to remove hardware remove your Aluratek and SD card. Now press the reset button on your Aluratek with a paper clip or needle do not use a ball point pen. Now it should be ready to load with anything you want on it. To do that you hook up your Aluratek to your computer open the drive as stated before in your SD or your Aluratek. Now drag and drop your files into the drive you have open. It should now be compatible. I know this works I had the same issue with some of my mp3's.

One radio has to be set on channel 3 other on channel 18

Hi, One way this would be possible is if you have set offset/duplex operation. My understanding however is that this feature is not normally available for this model. Normally Ch3 is 462.6125 and Ch18 is 462.6250, this can either mean that one of the radio has drifted down (frequency) or the other radio up. Since both are still operational albeit the disparity in frequency, what is probably needed is a simple calibration/adjustment of the PLL/VCO's trim capacitor. Of course a frequency counter & a dummy load wattmeter is needed to perform this. I also understand that FCC requires that you be licensed to be able to adjust/calibrate. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.
