"Failed to lookup DNS" error with Aluratek wifi internet radio
Here's the useless response from Aluratek customer support:
"Failed to lookup DNS, the password is case sensitive, if you are using upper lower case letters you have to key in the correct case otherwise you won't be able to connect your radio. Thanks."
However, Aluratek advised another AIRMM01 owner to obtain a newer modem. I bought a new Actiontec GT724WGR Wireless DSL Modem and that resolved the problem with my AIRMM01F.

I had this problem. Let me give some background. I was listening to my radio, to an internet radio station. There was a power surge/blip - a big thump. My radio is in the bedroom and the computer and router are in the living room. The power surge didn't even restart the computer or router, but the radio stopped playing the streaming station. I restarted the radio and it would not get an ip. I restarted the computer, router, and also my netbook that connects wirelessly. The netbook connected to the router and got an ip using the existing WEP key. I reset the radio and re-entered the WEP key into the radio setup and it still would not get an ip. I unplugged the radio and let it sit for a while hoping it would reset. Started the radio back up, entered the WEP key and still it did not get an ip. I went into my router software thru the computer and it actually showed the radio as an unassigned guest (or some weird nomenclature), so I knew the radio was connecting to the router it just wasn't getting an ip. So I went into the router manual setup function and re-entered the WEP key (the same key that I have been using). Before I exited the router maintenance program I looked at status and it had already assigned an ip to the radio. So somehow the power surge corrupted the WEP key data in the router. I went back into the bedroom and hit the OK button on the radio to "request an ip" and it connected immediately. So I am sorry for the long answer, but this may help someone in the same situation. I know in the future that if I run into this type of problem, that I will first re-enter the WEP key thru the manual setup in the router first!!! Thanks.

I have the same problem and not just with the FM tuner. I have spoken to Aluratek about the sluggishness of this radio. Their reply was to not push the buttons ore than once. The radio will eventually work.
