Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. It is possible your heating element in the cooker is going bad. They will usually wear out over time. It would make sense to me that it is the element because it is now taking twice as long to cook. The only way to tell is by taking it apart and testing the element. It is possible that the element is not getting enough power to it to work correctly. That's possible. None the less, it would need checked. If someone does it for you, I don't know the exact cost. It may be cheaper to buy another cooker. The wires will need tested with a voltage meter. Since it still works, I would lean more to the element, but it may not have enough power to it. More then likely, it is one or the other.
