Acer x112 DLP Projector turn off into two minutes and do not turn on

I had the same problem with my acer x112 ,
and after checking everything i found out that the problem was the Color Wheel (not necessarily being broken) , it looked new but it was the problem ,

Found an earlier suggestion on this site if you don't have the provided password and also already tried 1234.

1. Turn on the projector 2. Press "Power > Left > Left > MENU" (Opens the system menu)
3. Choose "RD Menu"
4. Choose " EEPROM Restore" (the projector turn off and the power lamp blink red for about 1 minut. Then it stops)
5. Turn on the projector again and it should work again



Acer P3250 will not acccept password

That's typically caused by the thermal protector. If the fan is running normally and there filter (if there is one) is clean, then the thermal sensor has probably gone bad. It will need to be sent to a repair center.

1,Check the fans ,whether the fan is running,when you turn on the projector
2,if the fans run, then ,check the lamp or lamp ballast

1)Plug in either the vga or dvi into both the projector and the laptop.
2)Plug in the power cord to the projector,then turn the projector on.
3)Once it has past its warm-up period,find the function key on your laptop.(Fn)
4)Along the F1,F2,F3 ect keys,press find the one with the picture of the display.
5)When you have found it,hold down Fn and press the display key down until it clones the laptop and projector.
