My kitchen sink stopped draining. Under the sink I found a provent would this be the reason the kitchen sink isn't draining. Already used a snake no clogs found.

Double wide trailer if that helps. No draining problems in the rest of the trailer. Just the kitchen sink not draining.

It's really strange that your sink won't drain but you didn't find any clogs with the snake. I'm having a similar problem with the toilet in my master bathroom; it won't clear but a snake went all the way through and didn't find anything. there might still be blocked drains somewhere, so I'm going to call a plumber to take a look at it. http://www.samslocalplumbing.com.au/serv...

That's a check valve so to speak...Houses have vents to the top of house..Most trailers have those check valves..When water drains it allows air to come in so it will drain..If it malfunctions it could be the very reason it doesn't drain...What I would do is stop up the right side of sink then fill with water...Then plunge the other side...If something's further than your snake it will hopefully unstop it and make it go on down..Hope this helps

My friend is actually facing a similar problem. However, I'm not sure if she's tried to snake the sink like you have. Last time I checked, she was considered going to a service provider since she's not sure what could be causing the problem. I also don't see anything wrong with getting a professional opinion if you've done all you can. http://www.goldsealplumbing.com/drain-cleaning-services/

You need to pull the plumbing under the sink to see if the trap is clogged. Snake after the trap.

Testimonial: "Already did that. No clogs."

I have a mobile home single wide older 1978 snaked auger type 25 feet kitchen sink drain still clogged

I had this issue about 6 years ago and the big(3 1/2") black ABS has probably colisped somewhere therefore all that water/sewer cannot go through. My was underground , so I had to hire a backhoe to dig up and install new black pipe. Years ago contractors used a cheaper black pipe and it did not stand up. If your black pipe is good, then it will be plugged at a P trap somewhere or it may be near the join close to the town/city connection...Where or what water/sewer is not going through...If your bathroom goes through, then It will be your kitchen drain...If its your kitchen, then the P trap is plugged under your sink.Replace it under 20 bucks..and make sure its 1 1/2" in diameter...they may sell you 1 1/4 BUT don't use it...

My kitchen sink refuses to drain at all.

You'll need a pro with a large cable snake and maybe a cutter head...

I hope it's not due to a garbage disposal. I try to warn people away from those things.

My kitchen sink is stopped up and i cannot unplug it! I have tried everything from draino to acid to snakes...still doesn't work!!!

I've had a similar problem and used a full bottle of main drain cleaner. It's only available at hardware stores and stores like Lowes and Home Depot. It should work unless you have tree roots growing into the main drain.

Double sinks in the kitchen are not draining properly

You most likely have cast iron drains. They work fine for 20 or 30 years or so. Then they rust from the inside out, they scale up sometimes to the point that they close completly off .My point is that any grease or food matter that gets in the drain can stop it up. the quick fix is to run a drain snake throught it then after you get it to drain you might use some professional drain cleaner to further clean out the line. If I'm correct about your drains, you ll need to replace them in the near future.
