My iPod Touch (1st gen, 3.0 fw, jailbroken using redsn0w) has the apple screen of death. I got it because I was using Icy and it stuffed up, forcing me to restart using home screen and sleep/wake buttons at the same time. The apple screen came up and after a while I figured I had the ASOD. I've tried various methods to fix it including the method where you use OpennSSH to move the watchdog file, but I get error messages saying the connection has been refused or something like that. Unfortunately, i'm overseas so I can't restore. Also, my comp. will not pick up my iPod when it's on the ASOD. Is this normal?????? PLS help, it would be much appreciated.
