You have to be logged in to the account, then select change password. You again have to enter the correct password and then, only then you can enter a new password. And to make sure you entered the correct password, you are asked to enter it again.
Never give any password in any website or response of a mail. Only change a password when you are 100% sure you are logged in to the correct account.

How do you mean your password? I guess you did not enter the right password, and if you think your password is correct. The follow this steps. Enter yahoomail. Click on i can't access my account. Select my password doesn't work Then click on next. Enter your Yahoo I.D and the code shown. Click next. And answer the question you been ask correctly.to verify your identity. Click on next. To reset your password. this will help you. ok
I forgot my password in rediffmail. I tried to enter many other but do not succeed. I cannot open my account because of the password now I know it but if I enter my correct password also I cannot open My accout in rediffmail

May be ur entering wrong password or id.....click on forgotten password....if u remeber ur correct mail id enter ur mail id....or u can answer the two questions and enter your date of birth.....if u enter it correctly it will let u change ur password n u can agin login using new password......hope this helps....
