Hi, When the power light blinks the set's protection circuits are causing the unit to shut off and blink. The series of blinks is an SOS signal that a servicer can decode to help diagnose the problem.
For those in areas other than in the US, I can't really say what the issue might be as the SOS patterns may be different for different countries. But, if you can find a service manual for your area you should be able to at least get an idea of what might have happened to it. There's no guarantee that what you read is the actual problem without further testing, however a solution which may work is press & hold the power switch on the TV -- that resets the switch..

start by trying to reset your TV. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet, then press and hold the power button on the TV (not the remote), for at least 10 seconds. Three flashes is lamp cover/lamp position error, it means the lamp cover is not set right, or the lamp is not in the right position. There are two micro switches to detect the lamp position, and lamp cover. Please reset the lamp and the lamp cover (door).
