When a call on your phone comes in i will vibrate, flashes red when battery is low. The light will also be red when its charging. It will turn off when its charged.
Your battery is probably out of charge.... Try charging it.... If the red light keeps on blinking even after charging it for a sufficiently long time You will either need to 1. Change your Battery. 2. Perhaps change your charger.or get your charging port checked and repaired.
Battery icon goes yellow when charge is low, red when about to go off, yes, that's OK. Recommend give it more time after all the bars are full-white, to trickle more into the battery. Lithium batteries don't seem to like being flattenend and left flat in my experience.
The light blinks for all sorts of things, might also have pending messages, etc. Can use the Storm OK while it's charging, just hold down red button to turn it on again.
After turning on, sometimes the cellular receiver does not turn on until battery is more charged. Wait 10 mins and then try to make a phone call, you may get a message saying it's off, do you want to turn the receiver on - just say yes.
if you didn't pair your phone up yet, that could be why. Hold all 3 buttons down for 10 sec. should go solid blue, then pair your phone cause its in discovery.
It turns out i found a solution to my problem. All you need to do is wait a few days and every day try turning it on several times. Mine turned on with 2% power. If you don't see the red light blinking then you probably need to charge it up then turn it on.
Charge your Supertooth one via the car charger or by attaching a usb/mini usb cable to your computer usb port. Need to charge for 4-10 hrs. Indicator light glows red (needs charging), orange (charging) or green (charged)
Power on: Press green button for 1 second. Indicator light blinks blue. A beep will be heard
Power off: Press green button for 1 second. Indicator light turns red. A beep will be heard
To pair with your mobile phone:
1. Press green button on Supertooth for 5 secs until indicator light blinks red/blue
2. Access bluetooth menu on your phone. Turn bluetooth on. Execute a bluetooth search.
3. Select ST ONE from list
4. When phone requests password enter 0000 and press OK
5. The handsfree kit is now ready for use
6. Clip Supertooth on sun visor of your car so that the microphone and control buttons are directed towards you.
To make a call: Dial number on phone. Supertooth will automatically connect. Indicator light is steady blue during call
To end a call: Press red button for 1 second
To answer a call: Press green button for 1 second. The bluetooth indicator will turn a steady blue.
To increase/decrease volume. Press volume buttons repeatedly up or down. They are situated between red and green buttons.
Hope this helps.
Does the light blink blue other wise and show red when charging ? Make sure ear set is fully charged overnite?
Turn off and turn on. Only then when turning on, DONT REMOVE YOUR FINGERS AND KEEP PRESSED for about 10-30 Seconds,, Watch for SOLID BLUE... Remove and proceed to pair.. If it still does not work, I would suggest that you keep trying .. Since I assume that the phone is charging well and then discharging over a time..
sounds like a dead battery. Plug the origional charger into it and the front led (below the flash) should flash red. If the red led in the back of the camera flashes or stays lit, then you have the wrong charger plugged in. (the camera won't power up if the back red/green led is on when plugged in)
