How do I set my email after wiping out?

You can still access emails but you will have to sign in! Only links and saved passwords will be lost by wiping Laptop!

As long as you have an active working SIM card and account, all you need to do is set up the email again. If you need help with that, go to

1. Find "Security Wipe"

• Press the Menu key twice.
• Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.
• Scroll to Security and press the Navigation key.
• Scroll to Security Wipe and press the Navigation key.

2. Restore factory default settings

• Highlight Emails, Contacts, etc., User Installed Applications or Media Card and press the Navigation key.
• When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the selected data will be deleted.
• Highlight the field at the bottom of the display and key in blackberry
• Scroll to Wipe and press the Navigation key to restore the factory default settings.
• Follow the instructions on the display to set up your phone and prepare it for use.

Go to options, security options, general settings, then press the menu key (the button with the 7 dots on it) then select the wipe handheld option.

You will most likely need to wipe the device before setting up your email. do you mean just to restart the phone, or actually wipe it so it in like new condition?
by pulling the battery that is the most effective way to restart the phone. if you want to wipe the phone, go to options, security options, general settings, the hit your options button and choose wipe handheld.

If you have noting important in the Blackberry you can get the email account and everything else removed by peforming a security wipe.

sounds like you need to set up the WaP settings this and address they use so that email and texting can be used
on your phone and most black berry BB use the same wap
for your BB you set the WaP threw security with the tech of your service provider they will give you info on that to set it up

now for the BB there is a setting if you already have the services it states in service provider if you did not set your service code by registering it with in 48 hours even after a wipe you will need to have a new code installed
after 48 hours of a wipe your services are whats the word scrapped and then you have to set services back up threw service provider this will bring back the tzones and browsers
