I am also having the same symptoms for my SV421XVT. TV works great except all HDMI ports are not receiving signal. Devices work through the AV Ports, and TV reception is fine. New Roku box is also not working through HDMI but works with AV. Wish I had a solution to this.


On a another forum for another TV it was suggested that boards need to be replaced. I hope I can get these boards for a reasonable cost.

The best thing to do is trial and error. Get some sample screws from home depot.

screws all around the outside of the TV can be removed with Phillips screw driver, usually can leave it standing, but depending on the model, some of the stands need to be removed on the Vizio TV's.

Keep your screws organized so you know where to put them when you put it back together.

remove all the screws on the solid back piece, and it should pop right off.

Be sure to have it unplugged for quite a while before working on it, capacitors can hold charge that will give you a good shock..

They are Metric M5 or M6 that you can get them for Home Depot, ACE hardware or Lowe's for about 20 cent each.
