The 1995 Grand Am was GM's worst nightmare. At 120,000 the transmission is going to just blatantly fail on you w/out notice. Problems with this make and model is if it was created between 1995-96 the transmission problems are goin to start. Even if you swap the crankshaft sensor, ignition module, and coils. I had one go at the mileage i just submitted. The computer also has malfunctions. It is indeed time to rid your vehicle, Sorry. Thnx 4 using fixya.com :-)

What you are experiencing seems to be high memory usage. In so, your computer is slowing itself down with the amount of processes it is running.
If this is a older computer, this is understandable as newer programs need more memory.
When you try to switch the computer off, it seems as if it is lagging therefore it isn't quite registering the fact that you want it to turn off.
If you really want to turn it off for good, you can always hold the power button until it turns off. A quick tap will not suffice.

Solutions:
Get a new computer
Upgrade your laptop - try investing in RAM, or a new CPU (A typical computer can run quickly w/ 2gbs of RAM)
Limit the amount of processes/programs you run at a time.

If this isn't the reason, you may have a virus that may be eating all your memory.
Solution: Download and run Malwarebytes Anti Malware. Scan and then remove the virus/bugs/worms that may be present.

Depends of what seems to be a problem.
If you want to get rid of that message box, appearing by itself, then probably you need to take front panel PCB with buttons and replace "Auto" one, 'cause it's stuck.
If you want to unlock an Auto Adjustment and other functions in your monitor, then press and hold 'Enter' button for 5 seconds.

Download Dr. Web. Malware Bytes and Superantispyware. Run these one at a time.

turn it off for an hour see if that works could be overheating

Turn off the auto red eye removal option......you can manually remove red eye later. If the auto red eye removal is on, it will try and process each picture after you take it and slow down camera.

hello this is nichu ,your monitor is not supporting your cpu .hence you are getting the message "processing auto config message from screen display".either you have to change your monitor or you have to change your cpu.next time while purchasing the pc get the help your hardware vendor to check out the compatibility

Try properly resetting the unit - battery in and out... and get rid of any new application that you may have recently installed (if possible) :)
