I have apparently an older scooter. I cannot figure out how to remove the seat to replace batteries. Does not have the lever on the right side of seat.

Looks like it has a lock bolt that goes into seat post. When I loosen the lock bolt, the seat turns right to left on post, but will not lift more than 1/16th of an inch. Please help!

Actually answered my own question. Two ways of removing seat for this one: 1) remove 4 bolts on bottom side of seat bracket, 2) somehow get to height adjustment bolt on post between the batteries.

How get How get to the batteries in a 600Frascal scooter.

Fold the back of the seat forward, from behind reach both sides of the seat, the right side will have a lever that needs to be pushed forward and lift the seat off.

the cover is snapped into place in the back, I normally grab both sides of the cover and tilt up toward the back and lift. If you should have a docking device mounted to the seat post you may need to disassemble part of it to remove the cover, hopefully not. the batteries should be sitting with the post upright, sometimes the batteries were laid on there side, this is not good for the batteries. unplug one battery replace the cables and reinstall, then go to the next battery and do the same. Turn the key on, to see what state the charge is. then replace the cover and seat. Plug the charger in and allow the batteries to fully charge. Scooter Doctor App

Why doesn't it move or do anything?

Mobility Scooters have a freewheel lever that allows you to push the scooter by hand instead of under power. the Freewheel lever must be in drive for the scooter to be driven under power. it is located under the seat or back right side of the scooter.
note: There are a couple scooters out there that have electrically operated freewheel feature, those are rare.

How do I replace batteries on firehawk scooter...can not find access to batteries

Remove the seat. Then remove the plastic cowling. It may be held on with velcro at the corners. Battery is under the cowling.

Replacing the battery on a mobility scooter

hi, ok remove the seat by turning it to the left, there is a lever normally on the right side that will allow it be turned round,

once you done that, lift the seat in a upwards motion, the cover should come away by gemerally lifting it, it should be attached by velco underneath,

you should now see two batteries. 40Ah batteries will allow you to go further if the battery Ah is lower, 50ah batteries again will allow you can go even further NOT faster, if you buy the larger AH batteries please make sure the dimensions of the batteries will fit within the scooter battery holders.
