No display sometimes video is coming. but most of the time it goes white only.What is the problem. This is laptop toshiba model Satelite M70-129

What is a screencard? I think they mean display driver, try uninstalling Display Adapter and then reinstalling sometime fixes problems.

The ribbon cable connector from the screen to the motherboard maybe loose or faulty.
Reconnect the video cable to the motherboard and if it still does not display properly then the ribbon cable is faulty.

a white background could be the ribbon cable that plugs into the lcd and the motherboard

The first is to check the connections for the lcd. You will have to take the keyboard off and pop the front cover off.and use a screwdriver.

This may also be a driver issue or video card issue..

flash the bios.
get the dvd drivers from toshiba website

the black and white wires are most likely the antenna for the wireless networking card. When you locate the card you will see two small round plugs. Don't think it matters which one goes where.
