Hi...

Maybe your Ipod have files hidden by viruses, you need to format your Ipod, to format your Ipod, you must plug it to you computer, after your Ipod detected, you need to open my computer, then after that you can see the icon of your Ipon, you just right click and format, chose the quick then ok.

After you've done formatting you can load many sons in your 2gb Ipod.

Good luck !!!

Regards

Want to know how many songs ipod nano holds

It would vary as its 4gb but depending the size of your mp3 or since your ripping from CD it'd probably be a high bit rate so more space could you not clear out some space?
4gb usually holds 1,000 songs based off a 4 minute interval

My nano 2gb only holds 185songs nd then says its full. wats wrong?

This all depends on the size and quality of the files you are putting on to the player. What formats are the songs in? Are they high quality songs (E.g. 320 Kbps?). The most important thing to look at is the size of the MP3 files or music files that you are putting onto the player. 2gb can hold a fair amount of songs, but for a better idea check here: http://www.beatsuite.com/page/96/
Also, ensure that you dont have any video files on the player, as these take up LARGE amounts of room.

I have an ipod 2gb by nano and im tryng to erase some songs i dont want anymore but i dont know how so please help me

You need to re-sync it to your library on your computer to move/delete songs off your iPod.

To have greater control, you can set your sync settings (one of the tabs available under your iPod in iTunes). You can create a playlist (you can name it whatever) and move the songs you want to it. Then, under your sync settings, tell it to sync just that playlist. This will allow you to chose what songs you want to on your iPod, instead of your whole library. To get any changes you make to the playlist to take effect, you'll have to re-sync but that should do it.

This is also helpful if you store all your music on your computer because your iPod may not be able to hold everything (which is the major reason I do this).

Ipod nano 2gb

the way your transfer music to your ipod is download itunes from the internet at www.apple.com/itunes it is FREE and then you can import CD's to your itunes library and then connect your ipod to the USB port on your computer, once you have done that you can chose the songs you want and click one at a time click and hold then drag it to ipod logo it shows it on your itunes program and thats it. ohh.... you can buy songs of the itunes store but you have to create an account and then buy an itunes pre-paid card. it shows you what to do on the back of card!!!
