Is it possible to change battery in a Finis Neptune? Where can I buy a new battery?

Windows does not require a driver to use this device. If connected via a USB port, it should be recognized by Windows as a removable disc drive and will show up under the "My Computer" menu, or "This PC" menu, depending upon Windows version. There is no other GUI or assistant type software utilized.

Try reinstalling the driver for your device or recovering the operating system to a time when the device was recognised

I had the same problem after logging less than 1000 yrds.
I dont have THE solution. Nor does Fnis.They offered a discount on the new model. Im looking for a firmware flash. if I find ill let you know

ensure that the message "USB Connected" is displayed in the unit. If when you conenct o the computer it only charges the battery, clean or peel off the contacts. THat happened to me in two units, and it worked.

Possible that the device was in shelf for sometime and the battery had developed reverse emf. The best thing as a last resort is to drain out totally and recharge for a long time, discharge again and repeat this recharging process for some time. Sometimes it might change the cells to live. I hope my advise will be useful . Good Day
