The computer is not recognizing swim mp3

The battery maybe flat. The charger or charging cable maybe faulty.
try a different cable.

Try a different USB cable. Some only charge, some only pass data and won't charge, while others will do both.

Depending on which model Swimp3 you have, the battery life may vary. At the most you should expect about 6 hours of play time before it needs to recharge.

One mistake we have had customers make is they plug it in to the computer to recharge, but then cut off the power to the computer. If you are using the computer to recharge your Swimp3 Player you will have to leave the computer power on.

Once you disconnect it you will have to press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, the green light will flash fast 3 times and then turn off. If the light is still on, the player is not off.

An alternative option would be to use a USB Wall Charger to charge the Swimp3. If you swim daily, its an easy thing to just pop it in the charger before you go to sleep (just make sure it is dry before you plug it in).

If you find this solution doesn't work, you may want to try resetting the player by pressing and holding the RESET button.

Go to the shops to get it sorted out!

It could be a few things.

1, The Charger is bad
2. The battery is completely dead
3. There is an internal malfunction that would require factory service.

While this may not help try plugging the charger into another computers USB port and dock it to see if anything happens.

Try to download the "fixer" from Creatives homepage.

I have the same problem just bought the thing yesterday and it won't charge I downloaded music yesterday and charged it, now it isn't recognized by the computer.

Went thru the whole troubleshooting chart and nothing happened, I did email techsupport but haven't heard anything. I guess I'll take the thing back and get it replaced.

if you plug it into your computer, and your comp says it recognizes it then it will charge. look on the bottom right of the mp3 screen a green bar will move and a lighting bolt will flash if its charging
