Can I do a Factory default reset on a Zenith Concierge Series H2530Y7 Model Television without the remote control?

I had ot go online to buy a remote control to use with my zenith concierge tv. It is the same model # as yours. I ended up paying almost 40 dollars for a remote made by lg who I believe bought out zenith. I believe you could problably just get a universal remote and get the same thing accomplished. I can do everything with the remote I ordered except the one thing I wanted it for and that is to turn up the volume. It says on the menu, custom, not preset, but it still will only go up halfway no matter what I do. I heard that you could program the tv to factory settings but I tried that with another remote and all it did was reprogram the remote so that it didn't work anymore. If you have any suggestions as to how I can get the volume to work on my tv, I would appreciate it as well

The lamp timer on a LG/Zenith projection television can only be done by a technician with a factory service remote control.

What kind of television are you trying to program the Zenith Remote to? If it is a Zenith TV, it should work after replacing the batteries. If not, the remote returns to the factory default to the Zenith Code. If you changed the batteries cuz the unit would not function, the remote itself may be defective. Replacements are still available at a ZENITH dealer at a nominal cost.

You have a hotel/motel model that cannot be programmed or any of the settings changed without a special Master remote. Sorry, doubt that you can buy one from the store, they are not sold to the public. Contact the hotel where you bought the set and try to get the model number for the remote from them. This is a different number than the model number of your tv.

You have to have the original remote. Then go into the menu under channel set-up. punch in channel 3 press add. The punch in channl 52. then press delete. Or turn on the cable box and go to auto tunnin g and let it do its thing. Im sorry , but if you dont have the original remote with a menu button your going to have to live with your problem. Good Luck
