How can I replace waste pad of WF 1100, where it located?

When printer's ink pads full then you need to be changed. Do you know what is waste ink pads? In the printing process, the printer produces waste ink that has to go somewhere and it send through a tube to ink pad where it is collected.

Don't worry! You can easily reset/replace the water ink pad:

Step1: Remove viewing panel on the back of your printer's right side. Some other printers it will be rectangular panel, and on others it will be right side of the printer. Use a Philips head, or screw driver to remove it.

Step2: Now you can find the ink waste tubes. It is easy to locate because they will be two clear tubes running side by side into the ink waste reservoir. Some printers will only have one tube. One end of the tubes will be attached inside the printer and the other ends will be loose. Pull the loose ends of the tubes through the panel opening. You may need to use needle nose pliers to accomplish this if you cannot easily grasp the tubes with your fingers.

Step3: After that remove the old pad. Wear rubber gloves when you remove it. Using the pliers, pull the pad out of the printer and set it aside. Clean out the reservoir by pushing paper towels into it and letting them soak up the ink.

Step4: Now you can replace the pad. You may also try cleaning the old pad by letting it soak in a large bowl of hot water then squeezing it out. Make sure it is completely dry before putting it back in the printer.

I hope you these steps to help you replace the waste ink pads. If you need any help, then contact Epson printer experts through Free live chat. They surely help you to fix the issue.

Lose rubber from arm pad

Hi

This is a very common problem and unfortunately there are not universal pads that be easily put on for a quick fix. A cool trick I learned years ago is this..Go to your local hardware store and pick up some heat shrink tubing. Make sure the tubing is just larger than your ear piece. All you do is place the tubing over the area where the rubber is coming off and heat it up. This will secure the loose rubber to your frame.

Absorber full

Cleaning the absorber pads is not too difficult. Switch the printer on with the cover open until the head moves to the left side then switch the power off. The print head should now be positioned away from the pads. Lift the two pads out of the rubber holders with a pair of tweezers or long nose pliers and then rinse in running water (no detergent necessary). They will soon become clean and white again. Do not twist to wring out the water, you may damage the pads. Gently compress to remove excess water and then use paper towel to blot the remainder. Let them air dry in a warm location like on top of a radiator. The wells in the rubber holder can be cleaned with cotton wool or paper towel before returning the two pads. Place the left pad in first, then the right pad and press down.

The water line that connects to the back top of the fridge busted loose. It looks like there is an adhesive pad that keeps it in place. How do I fix it? Scott

Hi Scott and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly

The plastic line that connects to the ice maker rubber FILL tube is what came off. Check inside the freezer and squeeze the end of the rubber tube at the back of the ice maker. I would bet it is frozen with ice. (Hand held hiar dryer for quite a while to defrost the tube FYI and do NOT melt the plactic of the ice maker water funnel.) What causes the tube to freeze is the inlet water valve starts bypassing water when it is supposed to shut off. The result of this bypassed water is a frozen rubber tube and the plactic tube on the back of the refirgerator blows off or leaks. This inlet water valve is NOT repairable.

The Fix... Replace the inlet water valve and make sure the rubber ice maker fill tube is defrosted BEFORE re-inserting the plastic tube back into the rubber fill tube. It just pushes in and the adhesive pads for holding the plastic line in place are not critical even if they are lost. The rubber fill tube fitting will retain the plastic hose just fine as long as the ice maker end of the tube is not frozen from a leaking inlet water valve.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly
