  • Hello chaleebradsh, the "Monitor" as well the Computer have "Power Saving Modes," [Sleep, ScreenSavers, and Hibernation]; so what you want to do is "Change the way the Computer / Monitor Sleeps!" From the Desktop Screen, click on the "Start Button," next in the [Start Search Window], type: power. In the next [window] that opens, you should see, from your point of view; a "list" in the (left column) "Change when the computer sleep, the wording may be different, but it will be clear enough. Now all you have to do is change the way the Computer and Monitor "Sleep, or Turn-off." If the Monitor have its own "settings;" just find them by the [button on the monitor], and do the same thing as above; but I'm sure the computer will take care of both. Monitor goes into sleep mode at random

Check your power options in your control panel - default is usually 20 minutes to put monitor to sleep - you can adjust the time there. The monitor itself does not usually have this as a function so I would start there first.
