Not unless you cut the wire and splice a new piece on, which I would not recommend. A new coil should cost you less than $20 and is not hard to replace. See the attached YouTube video on how to do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6bQrNr4lv0

Where do I find and how do I replace the spark plug wire?

spark plug wires are attatched to the coil. to replace the whole plug wire you need to change your coil. The boot can be replaced by itself but only if the wire is good

Ariens snowblower 1979 how to test for spark

The coil needs to be just close enough not to rub. Wrap a piece of hard copper wire on the threads of the plug and ground the other end to the engine. Pull the handle and watch for spark.

8HP Tecumseh with no spark

Check the gap between the coil and the flywheel. You can fold a dollar bill over a few times (3 or 4 layers thick) , place it against the flywheel , **** the coil up to it , and then tighten down the coil. This will give you a good clearance between the coil and flywheel and promote good spark.

Essentially I am suggesting you use the folded dollar bill to set the coil to flywheel distance/gap.

If it still doesn't work, I am at a loss. Is this a multi cylinder engine ? If so , does it have points or electronic ignition ?

Honda 8hp g300 FR 700 rototiller no spark-replaced coil-no spark--Was reading around 5K ohms with old coil, bought new, replaced and condenser reading 19K ohms still no spark

Try checking the plug end cap with an ohm meter for an "open line" reading.
I changed the coil on my no spark Honda G300 and reused the original resistor cap.
However I discovered it was the resistor cap that was at fault.
To fix I used a rubber boot and metal end cap from a car plug wire but new replacement caps are readily available.
Now have a strong spark.

I have a tecumseh 8hp on a snapper handlebar rider. bought it used 2 weeks ago, got it home mowed for about 1 hour and it quit. decide to give it a tune up. noticed the coil wire was almost burnt in half....

If plug is dry than you are not getting fuel to the plug something is plugged up in the carb clean it thoroughly and make your coil gap is correct. But I would lean more towards the fuel not reaching the plug.

My tecumseh engine has no spark and everything has been replaced in the ignition system

There is a shut down wire, This wire is grounded some where along the route. Look at the coil for this wire, it shorts the coil to ground so no spark can get out to the plug.
