How do i charge my portable dvd player

U plug in the a/c power charger for the portable DVD player have power and work?Yes,than the litium battery is dead.Take out of the a/c charger like 4 or 6 hrs later dvd player have any battery power at all?No?Tries websites like Amazon.com,Ebay.com to buy a new litium battery or a compatible one for the replacement.

That simply shows the fault is not from the battery.

Have you checked if the charger is working fine?, first check if the charger is working fine by testing it on another lasonic pdl305 portable dvd player to see if it is working.

If it does not work then you have to replace the charger.

The next thing to check is the charging port, to test this, try to use a tested ok charger on it to see if it works.

If it does not, then you can tell it is the charging port that has a problem. All you have to do is replace the charging port.

That is How you detect the fault and fix it.

Are you sure it is not the charger itself at fault here?

If you have or know someone with a multimeter get them to check if any voltage is present on the charger plug of the cord. Batteries do not suddenly stop they usually give less and less time in uptime mode before they finally stop altogether. I would suspect the charger or charging circuit.yes it can be fixed

Tries Websites like Amazon.com,Ebay.com they have it.U bought this portable DVD player a long time ago?U use it lot with ur battery charger before?U lost the charger?Have not use the DVD player alot,buy the battery charger.No need to buy the Litium battery.But,no matter what must have a charger though,because fully charge litium battery for portable DVD last only about 4 1/2 hours max.

Tries buy a new litium battery yet?Get a new adaptor charger?Tries it own website for adaptor charger or Amazon.com,Ebay.com many eclectronics parts excessorries.Tries ur local Radio Shack ask the clerk for help to buy litium battery or charger adaptors.

Unplug and open the player's casing. Check the player for a blown fuse or a busted fusible resistor. Do a connectivity test on components along each terminal and replace if found open.

It is Most Likely that you will and you'll probably need a new charger as well sorry..
