you will need to replace radiator and hoses and thermostat. you will need to flush system including heater core. You probably plugged the heater core with pepper ( which does not work as a sealant). Leave pepper in the kitchen.
They aren't supposed to get hot. A dehydrator blows ambient cool air across the food to dry it. Heat would cause food borne pathogens to grow causing food poisoning. Wow, this one does. As a Food Safety Trainer, I find this very worrying!
