From the manual

This indicates an electrical fault in the control
circuit. The kiln has been on zero power for 15
minutes but the temperature has not fallen by at
least 1°C. Control contacts may have failed closed (e.g. welded). TURN OFF THE KILN [Error 4 should be present]

Getting Started with Pottery

Other than just being famous for the scene in the movie Ghost, pottery is a wonderful craft that can be incredibly relaxing and creative.
It is not easy to get started with pottery at home without some basic knowledge and tools, so you might want to begin with a short course in pottery at a local center.

But once you get started, here are some tips for you:

    1. Low-fire clays are good for bright colors and detailed patterns. But they need a good glaze to help seal them against water damage.
    2. High-fire clays are much more waterproof, just not as good with bright colors.
    3. Pottery by hand this is the simplest method when you do not have a potters wheel and are keeping your projects small. You take a small amount of clay and work it with your hand. Once you have shaped it, you can use a damp sponge to smooth the surfaces.
    4. A potters wheel is not something most people have at home but if you do get access to one, it is great for round, symmetrical objects. If you use a potters wheel you will need a kiln at the end for finishing.
    5. Once you have put your pottery in the kiln (get advice about how many hours your particular piece needs), you can now paint and glaze your piece.
Pottery is a complicated art form that has many stages but it is really worth it when you get to produce a piece that you have made yourself from start to finish.

    Good Luck

I need an owners manual for modet lt-3k kiln

Do you mean the Dawson LT-3K kiln sitter, a control and monitor for the ceramic kiln? The manual for this is on the product page: http://www.paragonweb.com/ManualInfo.cfm?CID=42 . The direct link to the manual is http://www.paragonweb.com/files/manuals/ACF1B.pdf .

If you need information about the kiln, then please check that model number and add a comment with that information. If your kiln is from Paragon, then try http://www.paragonweb.com/Instruction_Manuals.cfm for a manual. Paragon makes the Dawson LT-3K.

I hope this helps.

Whats the problem of my onkyo m-501 it has no power

unplugged with nO power cord connected,,after checking for any internal blown fuses, inspect circuit board for burnt resistors or blown caps, the resistors will appear to be laying on there sides and have multi colored bands around them look for burnt or discolored ones, blown capacitors will look like tiny barrels with lids a flat top indicates a good capacitor as any humped or bulged or rounded top would indicate blown cap , if not more than a couple you may be able to replace these with success, be careful always Unplug from power before servicing electronic componants.

Fuse keeps blowing

If fuse keeps blowing that means that there is a shortage on AC wiring or switch controlling the air conditioner.

Also an abnormal power draw from AC caused by an internal fault on AC can cause the fuse to blow.
Test wiring and switch with a voltmeter, the most common is that there is a short to ground between wiring and car body somewere.
