Have 2 laptops connected to wireless router DI-524, Mac OSX & PC. The Mac is working fine but I cannot get the pc up. It says it is working but it will not get on internet. I don't think it has the correct password entered & I cannot find where to enter the correct one. Any Ideas?

Try to go to start -> settings -> network connections -> and see if your connection is working properly if there is a problem it will say it's limited. If limited try right click and repair, if it won't work try right click on connection then properties and in ip/dns section set all on automatic.

If none of this will work try to disable firewall for few min and see if it works, to do so go to control panel Windows Firewall,

If password would be wrong you wouldn't be able to connect at all, you can always try to go to available wireless networks and try to disconnect your connection and then reconnect again it should prompt for pass.

SOURCE: Can't access the config/admin page for my router (i have a Mac)

you can erset the router by press and hold for 15 sec the reset button at the back of router(using Ballpen or paper clip to reset it) but reseting it means configuring it again

I have a mac and am having trouble with the

Whenever I have problems like you describe, I try to simplify. Remove the encryption key & see if your mac will connect. If YES, then add a simple key. I go with all numbers. Add complexity as you succeed. At the end of this process, reconfig all the other devices.

DL 524 router with a mac

When you connect the MAC to the router with the CAT 5 cable it works , that means the wired connection of the router is working but the wireless is not working.
You will need to check the wireless settings of the router.
Is there any computer connected to the router with the cable ?
If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router and open the set up page of the router.

Unable to connect to internet on desktop pc

does your utp cable crimped correctly? have you tested this? try to use this utp cable to your laptop if its okay then follow the instruction as what is written in the manual, i also experience like this with my 4pc's before and i found out that the utp cable i crimped was not properly done. in the case of the DI-524 this is just a plug and play you don't need to configure.

Mac won't recognise network

Based upon the way you worded the message, you were trying to get the Mac working wirelessly? The description of how you were trying to set up your network (SysPref\Net\BuiltInEthernet) is for WIRED connections, not wireless. If you are running OSX and you have a built-in wireless adapter, use System Preferences\Network\Airport choice to set up for wireless connections. If you are trying to use the wire either because you don't have a wireless card or it is not working, check to make sure that the cable is good...maybe hijack the cable that you know works for your PC and test it. Please let me know if I am on the right track to solve the problem.

DI-524 One wireless connection makes others not ok

This is unusual, as it seems the router is allocating two pc's the same IP address. Go into your routers settings (internet browser and type the router address, eg 192.168.1.1)' and look at Client DHCP list and look at the IP addresses that each pc has been given and see if two are the same, they should be one digit difference, that being the last. Also go into the properties of both your pc's wireless cards and ensure that they are set to obtain an ip address automatically.
