Did you try installing newest drivers from intel/gigabyte website? what you described looks to me as a overheating problem. try running the game with case open. are you running on the integrated GMA graphics or PCI-E graphics card(like geforce, radeon)?

Can 500gd hard disk be connected to gigabyte 945gcm-s2l?

Yes you can, there won't be any problem install 500GB hard disk on your motherboard. It is recommended to use SATA type Hard Disk Drive instead of the old IDE/ATA.
Let me know if you need further help.

Hi... i have gigabyte ga-945gcm-s2c and i dont know where is the jumper to bios clearing CMOS... please help me to fix this problem... thanks before....

You can get the manual here:
http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Manual/motherboard_manual_ga-945gcm-s2l%28s2c%29_e.pdf

But if you look to the right of the CMOS battery, you will see two pins, to reset the cmos, simply cap the pins with a jumper for 10 secs, or touch them with a screwdriver (mains power OFF of course)
