Renaut kangoo drive belt daigram routing

Hi AJB, Tell me has the web abolished good manners? You are asking for help from people who have volunteered to give help, not inanimate machines! I've just now looked at three requests from you, all of which have been demands. If we're willing to give up our time to help you, have the good manners to communicate remembering we are people. My year old Serpentine Belt came off last night somehow. Is there a way for me to put it back on myself without having to get it towed around the corner to the shop?

if you have never installed a serpentine belt, it sometimes can be a chore, 1st you need to look under neath you cars hood for a serpentine belt diagram, it will show how the belt is routed, next you will need the approriate size socket, and ratchet to put onto the belt tensioner and route the belt back on to the routeing as reqiured, and once you get to the tensioner with the tool , pull back onto the tensioner and slip the belt back on , make sure that the belt is routed correctly, and evenly through the routeing. sometimes , it might take 2 people to do this, the type of socket on most are 14 or 15 metric size sockets, or you might have to slip a socket onto the bolt of the tensioner to see which one will fit, hope that this information has helped you. also you have to ask yourself a question, why did the belt come off, it is worn, or is the belt tensioner wearing out, and not holding the tension properly to the belt.

I have a 1990 ford probe and I need to change the serpentine belt how do I get it off, where do lossen the bolts to remove the old belt...

The belt should have a spring loaded tensioner the takes up the slack in the belt. Most cars are similar in their methods, but you merely insert a square drive from a breaker bar in the provided square drive on the tensioner or use a socket. (16mm ?) on the pulley wheel and simply unload the spring tension until you can free the belt, then assemble in reverse order. There is usually a chart under the hood that shows belt routing.

Engine is makiing gogling sounds after changing spark plugs wires cap and rotor.

Pull the plugs and recheck the gap - no such thing as "Pre-gapped" I dont care what other people say. Also verify your resistance of your spark plug wires & routing.

Serpitine belt routing?

if there is not a sticker under the hood, it will also have a diagram in the manual. to relieve the tension idler there is an indenttion in the front of the arm. you put a 3/8 rachet into the end and turn it to move the idler this is a spring belt tension. i have seen people pull tug and use screwdrivers trying to get them on. and never notice the rachet hole. flat to flat and groove to groove is basic, and should work. however a chevy blazer belt can be put on perfectly two different ways. but one way the belt will come out about 3/4inch too long.

How to change the serpentine belt on a lumina euro 3.1??

I found on my 92 lumina 3.1 the easiest way to change the belt is to have two people handy (you and a helper) push the belt tensioner (which is more in the middle of the belt system, its the only thing that has give when pressure is applied) down (which will loosen the belt) have your partner slip the belt off the altenator (which should be on the very top of the belt system on the passenger side) and just pay attention to the way the belt is routed as you remove it, put the new one on (routed correctly) push the tensioner again have your partner slip it back over the altenator....and you have a new belt on with no tools :)

just pay good attention to the routing of the belt, and i also think there is a black cover over the belt which needs to be removed before the old belt can be taken off (if you dont see it at first you will find it) it has 3 bolts i think and also a diagram of the routing....

TIP: the tensioner will take some muscle to move down, and yes the belt is running over it....
