    Hello,

When I attach my RCA th101 MP3 player to the USB port my computer says "USB Device not Recognized". What do I do?

  • HarleyEM Jan 22, 2008

When I try to download songs on my Thumbdrive RCA MP3 player 2G it freezes my computer. I have downloaded songs on this player from this computer many times previously. When I push scan to fix, my computer froze and now it won't read at all on my computer.

May be your mp3-player is USB 1.1 and your Windows has an USB 2.0 Controller -> Microsoft has a patch (file usbhub.sys).

I have an rca mp3 player model m202e the screen is broke so i can not see how to delete songs. how do i do that

BE SURE NOT TO DELETE YOUR FIRWARE, ONLY THE SONGS,FILES,ETC.
Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

I want to put more songs on my RCA Opal M4208

This is straight from the manual:
You have exceeded the maximum number of
items that this player supports. Your player can
only support up to 2000 media files within eight
hierarchy of folder in maximum.

My pearl mp3 player says no files when i turn it on

The songs are in the wrong format - it does not recognize iTunes songs or DRM-encrypted songs which do not have "transfer rights" (many msuic services - especially free ones but also paid ones - give you WMA's that have "play rights" -i.e. you can play them on your computer; but if they do not have transfer rights, they will show up in your player, yet not play correctly/skip).

Transfer only songs that are in Mp3 Format and you will never have this problem.

RCA 512 MB

Well Robert, the main solution to this is the firmware. You need to set the MP3 player on to "Disk Mode" and check for any corrupted files or additional files that you didn't install originally. Like I tell all my clients, It's not whats added to the MP3 player, it's whats taken away. If you can't seem to find your original firmware onto your MP3 device, you need to install a new one, or check for additional firmware that you didn't install. Try backing up all your files before you attempt to install any new firmware onto your MP3 device.

Don't panic!

How do i put music on my mp3 player

if you already have songs in your computer connect your mp3 player it will say open folder answer yes, then click on the corner to lower or move your window drag your song from your computer folder to that window usually e or f. to drag the song you need to click and hold down your left mouse button on your song and move it to your e folder then release button. another way is by click right button on song then choose copy from the list then go to your mp3 folder e and right click then paste.
