You need to sync it with your computer and do a complete reset. It will restore the manufacturer's settings and delete all of the information (songs, apps, etc.) from your iPod. Do not use the backup either your computer or iCloud offers you because it will just restore your password settings and you won't be able to unlock your iPod. You will need to go back in and put your songs and apps back on your device from either the iCloud or your computer.

SOURCE: my ipod touch is locked and i don't know passcode,

Connect your iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked. If you can't unlock iPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod.

Go onto iTunes, try to recover your iPod, and get your files. If you don't care about the files, reset it. If you need more details, just ask and I will try my best!

How dow I clear and remove restrictions passcode I dont know what the passcode is and have 2 failed attempts

You can reset it using iTunes. Open iTunes, plug the iPod in using USB, then turn of the iPod, once it's off hold down the home and lock buttons for 10 seconds, then release the lock button while continuing to hold the home button. After a few seconds iTunes should detect the iPod. Then you should be able to restore the iPod back to factory defaults. Even if you forgot the password.

I was out at the bar i was kind of intoxicated i put a passcode on my ipod touch now i dont know what it is and cant bypass it how can i reset my ipod touch???? or bypass the passcode i set???

There is no way to get around a password that you dont know. The best way to do it is to reset the device.

To reset:
Plug your iPhone into your PC or Mac with the USB cable
Press and hold the power button at the top and then slide to power off the iPhone
Press the power button to power the iPhone on and keep it held while simultaneously pressing the home button
After a few seconds a yellow alert triangle will appear and the iPhone will say it is iPhone Restore Mode.
Open up iTunes and click on the Summary tab
Click on Restore to restore your iPhone. This will reset all your iPhone's setting to the factory defaults, including the Passcode.

Dont rem passcode

If you don't remember the passcode to your iPod, simply enter any code 5 times and it will reset the device. Then plug it into your computer and reinitialize the device.
This will remove the passcode.

My ipod touch is locked and i dont know my passcode

You have to hook up your ipod to iTunes and restore it, if its yours of course. If it doesn't belong to you you will not be able to get rid of the passcode problem.

I just bought a ipod touch on da street an it says disabled connect to itunes and when i do it says put in the passcode and i dont have the passcode how can i reset it or get in it to use it? please does...

You need to reset you Ipod to factory default. This will erase everything on the unit but since you just bought it that should not be an issue.

Make sure that the ipod is not connected to your computer yet. but Itunes is running.
1. Power Off the Ipod by holding down the power button for about 5 seconds then sliding the power off.
2. Press and hold the Home button and plug the Ipod back into the computer. Keep holding the home button until you get past the apple logo. You should then be prompted to go into recovery mode on your ipod.
