Fi you are using a percing valve you need to change it to a regular 1/2 by 1/4 compression vlve,, go to a half inch cold water line cut a tee in the line install a 1/2 out let pipe fot the ice maker, then install your valve run a 1/4in line to the ice maker, you shoud have no rblems,, it has to have volume with water supply in order to work, a percing valve is just that, it has a needle on the end you clamp it to the pi[e scre in the "t" handle till it perces the pipe, then back it off to open the water suply alot of times this is not enough to supply the water for the ice maker,,
o.k.,, then lets try this,, is it not making ice> or is the whole unit not working,, when you moved the unit did you stand it straight up and down or did you lay it down,, i am sorry that I didn't help the first time but if you read what you wrote it is kinda hard to understand the complete situation you have,,there is a small water outlet in the ice maker unit this could have had water in it when you turned it back on cosing the line to freeze up when turned back on,, if this is the case you can remove the water line on the back and blow air thru the line and get all excess water out before turing the unit on,, from wht you wrote if you can be more clear i can help you better

Hi , I will try and explain better. We are in a motorhome and were in Edmonton AB and moved to Kitimat B.C. The ice maker was working great in Edmonton...when we got to Kitimat. it did not work...it would get cold but not water would go in the ice maker. We have NOT taken it out of the wall as of yet. We have replaced the water value but we think that there is no power to the water value ..what part would this be.?..we are being told here that parts for the U-line are hard to get. Is this true?
