code 327, which is that the DPFE or EVP circuit voltage is below the minimum of .2 volts.... most likely the evp(EGR Valve Position sensor). its the electric component on top of the EGR Valve. check the vacuum lines to it as well as they can cause shifting problems.

sounds like either a vacuum leak (check the bottom of the "tomatoe juice can" for starters) or a bad or plugged egr valve or egr solenoid.
check engine lite refers to emissions probs only...most likely egr or vac leak. Had the same prob on my 95 5.0 f150...needed new can and egr valve.

it means its time to replace the EGR (exhaust gas recirc) valve it will be located on your intake manifold.

I have a 2005 f150,with a 4.6 and it idles rough and when you turn on the ac it wants to die. Checked the codes and there are no codes.Any suggestions?

i would still replace the egr but if you are nervos abut buying the part try going to the salvage yard and grabin one off same engine of that year it dont matter if its a van or truck as long as its a 92-94 300cu in 6cyl and try to get one with low miles the reason i say this ibecause i had the same problem on my 93 ford truck and i went through every thing on it and my scaner told me the samething EGR and it to wasnt stickin but com to find out that was the problem hope this helps and thankyou for reading

First make sure all lines are connected to EGR , if not ,connect them if they are? Then remove EGR value and clean and reconnect.

change the fuel regulator--check the vacumn to it

After removing the cover, the egr valve is beneath, you will need to remove retaining clips to remove the egr valve.

It sounds like it could be a few different things. I would check is to do a diagnostic on the computer to see if there is a problem with any of the injectors. Then I would test the egr,map and oxygen sensor. BUT THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS GET A GOOD INJECTOR CLEANER TO ENSURE NONE OF YOUR VALVES ARE STICKING.
